Outlook Safelink Decoder
Extract the original destination URL from Microsoft Defender Outlook Safelinks. Inspect recipient email, M365 tenant ID, and creation dates locally.
Safelink Input
What is Outlook Safelink?
Outlook Safelinks (part of Microsoft Defender for Office 365) rewrites URLs in incoming emails to verify that the destination website remains safe at the exact moment you click it.
While secure, it obscures the actual destination and embeds user information (like your email address and corporate M365 Tenant ID). This tool extracts the original link and parses the embedded metadata safely inside your browser without any server connection.
This does not look like an Outlook Safelink URL, but we successfully decoded the URL.
Decoded URL Information
Original Destination URL
Bypassing Safelinks and visiting the original URL directly removes Microsoft Defender's time-of-click protection. Only open links from trusted senders.
